Theatre, a major art form, is a vehicle of personal and community education.
It educates the whole individual physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
It is integrated and aims at the development of lively, imaginative, sensitive and socially adjusted individuals responding to the life's challenges
in humane and constructive ways. Performing arts club gives an opportunity to know the individual in depth with the help of various activities and
games. The club provides a platform to the students to build up on their multifaceted personalities.
The fear of stage is reduced to a great extent and the students eventually perform confidently in front of the audience.
The classes will be in the form of interactive workshops consisting of exposure to various theatrical procedures.
Objectives:
To bring forth the latent theatrical skills of the students.
To motivate the students to be creative.
To foster the skills of team work and leadership among the students.
To enable the students to write dramatic scripts for different purposes.
