Collaborative Projects
Collaborative projects provide students with a platform to reach peers around the world through internet / letters (Snail mail). The students of different age groups are involved in these projects on either website or snail mails or E-pal programme with their partners in different countries such as Germany, Brazil, New Zealand, Ireland, USA, Canada, Japan, and Sweden. These projects facilitate students who will never meet each other face-to-face with an opportunity to interact and learn from each other. As per the nature of projects they are suitably integrated with presentation sessions or video conferencing sessions.

Website / E-pal based collaborative projects Snail-mail
  • Students in the age group of 13-16 years are involved in these projects.

  • In website based projects students perform real time experiments & utilize the data in enhancing their skills and knowledge. These projects are either subject specific or inter disciplinary in nature.

  • E-pal based projects provide students an opportunity of peer-learning. In these projects students share information with their parents on the identified themes mainly related to social, economic, ecological or political aspect of the respective countries.

  • The collaborative projects based on letters exchange are mainly for young Rukminians in the age group of 6-10 years with schools in Germany & Sweden.

  • In comparison to e-mail, letters as a mode of communication, is slow and hence termed 'snail-mail' but for younger ones concrete experiences are important, that too when accompanied with gifts, create wonders for them.

  • E.g. Learning about Easter with a parcel of Bunny-painted Easter eggs, with chocolates inside to relish and celebrating Diwali with their German partners by sending them crackers and sharing information about the same.
