Manish Attri of class XII (Medical) has qualified All India Pre-medical Test (AIPMT-Preliminary) 2012. || Class X students Ria Pant was awarded 8th Position, Swati Goyal & Poorva 10th, Vaibhav Madan 12th and Nalin Nanda scored 16th position in the Science Open Merit Test-2011-12 conducted by Delhi State Science Teachers Forum. || Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam visited at RDPS on 9th April 2012 for an interaction with students. ||A group of 16 students and 2 teachers from RDPS visited Classico Statale, Luciano Manara, Rome, Italy under the Multicultural Exchange Programme from 18.03.12 to 01.04.12 || Vishal Golcha (XI A), Shrey Sharma (XI B) and Shivendu (XII B) won the I Position in NIE Fundamental Quiz organized by Times of India. Each one of them won a Bicycle, Electronic key Board, gift vouchers worth Rs.5000 from Scholastic, gift vouchers for Amusement Park, Books, trophies and merit certificates. A Rolling Trophy was also awarded to the school. || Vishal Golcha (XI) & Saarthak Sachedeva (VIII) bagged the Runners-Up Trophy & Apple i-pods at ‘TCS IT Whiz Quiz’ conducted by Tata Consultancy Services at IIT-Delhi. || Swati Goyal of Class X-C won an all expense paid Scholarship to attend a 5 day Youth Camp in Gwalior from 26.12.11 to 31.12.11 as she was among the first 20 top scorers in FIT II level among 371 students. || Shivangi Bali of Class VII A won a Bronze Medal in ‘57th National School Games’ Sqay Championship’ held at Margo, Goa from 1st November to 6th November, 2011. || Utkarsh Arora of Class X B represented India in Asia Junior Sports Exchange Games 2011 (Badminton) and won against State Teams of Japan. || 17 Rukminians were in top 1% of CBSE AISSCE (Class XII) result and have been awarded the Scholarship for Higher Education by Department of Science and Technology || Samarth Bansal of Class XII has been selected to visit Japan under JENESYS-2011 by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). || Poorva of Class X C has cleared the JSTSE Interview round held in Directorate of Education, Science Branch. || Harshita Gupta of Class IX C and Swati Goyal of X C have won an all expense paid scholarship to attend a summer camp in Munich, Germany from 3.06.12 to 23.06.12. || Garima Behal of class XI C has been awarded with the Times NIE Student of the Year Award 2011. She has won a trophy, a certificate and a gift voucher worth Rs. 1000. ||Ankita Jain of Class XII has been selected to visit Japan under JENESYS-2012 by Human Resource Development Ministry and Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) as a part of the fifth phase of the Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youth Programme (JENESYS).

  • Ability to use a variety of instructional methods, and is skillful in setting specific objectives, asking questions and assessing children’s progress.
  • Resourcefulness i.e. to recognize the "teachable moments” and involving the school community.
  • Broad view of the learning process and capitalizes on the children’s interests and experiences.
  • Sensitivity to children’s needs, in order to develop a sense of self-worth and competence amongst them which later helps students in meeting appropriate challenges.
  • Comfortable in the integration of ICT in Teaching- learning process and other areas of the work.

On the basis of classroom observations, feedback from the concerned incharges, areas of training or development are identified.

Continuous and comprehensive ICT training programmes are scheduled depending on the updation of the ICT infrastructure at the school campus.

Staff exchange programmes with schools abroad to provide exposure to international education system, holding and attending various workshops/ seminars/conferences, interactions with eminent personality and subject experts (both in house and outdoor), library Reference slots provide plethora of opportunities to teachers to add on their qualifications, teaching – learning and other related skills.
